As HipHopDX continues to remain the #1 online source for Hip Hop news, mydiveo is happy to announce a ‘#DXSW VIP Artist Contest” to attend their first Official SXSW Showcase in Austin, Texas “DXSW” presented by Brisk® Iced Tea with one guest. DXSW will take place on Wednesday, March 16th and will feature Def Jam Recordings artists Pusha T, Lil Durk, Desiigner, BiBi Bourelly, HXLTand Jahkoy with additional artists, DJs and other influencers TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON. Music will be provided by Young Guru.

mydiveo and HipHopDX are partnering to give one artist and a guest a chance of a lifetime to attend the HipHopDX Official SXSW Showcase VIP style on March 16, 2015. #DXSW VIP Artist winner will receive:
-Roundtrip transportation for 2 to Austin, Texas. (Air/Ground/Hotel) for 2 days and one night stay (only if artist is NOT already in Austin, Texas)
-2 VIP Guaranteed Admission tickets/wristbands to watch the show
CONTEST PERIOD / ENTRIES / HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Contest, each entry video must be uploaded to the contest page on the mydiveo website or in the mydiveo mobile app within the following period (the “Contest Period”): The Contest begins on March 8 at 12:00am (PST) and ends on the 13th day of March at 11:59 p.m. (PST). If a video was posted before or after the Contest Period, it will not be included in the Contest.
Below is a description of how to enter the Contest:
1. CREATE A PROFILE
Visit the website, www.mydiveo.com, and create a mydiveo profile. Make sure to fill out all of the proper contact information and social links. There is no cost to create a profile.
2. RECORD A VIDEO
Record a video directly from the mobile app or upload a pre-recorded video of your musical talent (e.g. rapping your best verse, singing an original song, your group performing an original song, playing a guitar, playing the piano, etc.). The video needs to be at least sixty (60) seconds and a maximum of four (4) minutes in duration. If an entry video is shorter or longer, it will be disqualified. Lip-synching or pretending to play an instrument is not a valid entry. The video must be of the entrant’s musical talent on display. If an entrant records or sings a song, the entrant must own one hundred percent (100%) of the copyrights to the song and the recording. Entrants will be disqualified if all elements within their entry video are not original.
3. ENTER THE CONTEST & UPLOAD YOUR VIDEO
Go to http://mydiveo.com/contests, click on “ENTER NOW”, fill out the entry form with all current information, and upload a video, selecting the “contest” category. Entrants will be first asked to sign in to their account or create a profile if they do not have one already. A valid phone number and current email address is required so Sponsor can contact the winners.
4. SHARE THE VIDEO
Entrants are encouraged to share their video link/URL on their social networks hashtagging the video with #DXSWVIP to share with your followers and friends.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official rules (the “Official rules”).
SPONSORS
This mydiveo talent “#DXSW VIP Artist contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Tiveo, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, d/b/a “mydiveo”, located at 6464 Sunset Blvd. Hollywood, Ca 90028 (the “Sponsor”) which is solely responsible for all aspects of this Contest.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or over as of the first date the Contest Period begins (as described below). For the purposes of these Official Rules, all times are based on Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). There is only one (1) entry allowed per mydiveo account (which includes both the website and mobile app). Users must record one (1) video of their musical talent and upload it to the mydiveo website or app. Videos must be at least sixty (60) seconds and a maximum of four (4) minutes in duration to qualify for the Contest. Videos must be submitted during the Contest Period. All winners will be contacted via their registered mydiveo email addresses or phone number provided on the Contest entry form. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrectly submitted email addresses or phone numbers.
All members of an Act must either (i) be a United States citizen; (ii)be a legal permanent resident of the United States; (iii) possess a current employment authorization card (EAD card) or have unrestricted employment authorization; or (iv) be in the United States legally at the time of the initial audition.
Employees or agents of the Sponsor and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, providers, suppliers and the members of their immediate families or those persons living in the same household of such individuals are ineligible to enter or win the Contest.
All international, federal, state, and local rules and regulations apply. The Contest is void in all countries, territories, and possessions where prohibited or restricted by law.
PRIZES
Each winner will receive one (1) prize. The following prizes will be awarded to the winners of the Contest:
“In the event production of the event is cancelled or postponed, the prizing may be cancelled without substitution or compensation therefor.”
Winner(s) will be given the opportunity to attend the DXSW contest, guaranteed VIP entry for 2 and air/hotel travel IF needed.
WINNERS
Entrants are only eligible to win a maximum of one (1) prize per individual. An entrant is defined as a unique mydiveo username. Winners are solely responsible for any local, state, or federal income taxes on prizes.
SELECTION OF THE WINNERS
Users must register for a mydiveo profile in order to participate. A mydiveo profile may be created in the mydiveo mobile app or online at www.mydiveo.com. There is no cost to create a mydiveo profile.
At the end of the Contest Period, the selected winning videos judged by the mydiveo database at the end of the Contest Period will be reviewed by Sponsor and then Sponsor will choose the winners judging by the following criteria: Sixty percent (60%) talent, and forty percent (40%) individuality/style.
The winners of the Contest will be selected no later than one (1) days after the conclusion of the Contest Period. The winners will be sent an email or will receive a phone call with instruction as to how to claim their prize within one (1) day after the winners are selected. If Sponsor does not receive timely confirmation of winning, such winner will be disqualified from winning the Contest, and Sponsor will select a substitute winner.
If an entrant believes that he/she is the winner of the Contest, such entrant can email: discover@mydiveo.com to inquire, however, the winners will be determined as described in these Official Rules. Sponsor shall have the final determination of the winners and no disputes will be recognized. Winners may be required to sign and return a release of liability, declaration of eligibility, and where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, all within ten (10) days of acknowledged notification. By accepting and/or using the prize, each winner agrees that Sponsor may use of his/her name (both personal and professional), voice, likeness, and/or biographical material for the purpose of advertising, trade, and/or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The foregoing shall apply with equal force and effect to any other party that contributed to each entrant video in any way.
If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed declaration, release, and consent required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the mydiveo account from which the entry was submitted.
A list of the winners of the Contest will be announced on the mydiveo website and/or app.
E-MAIL CHANGE OF ADDRESS POLICY
The Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, miscommunications, failed phone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic; including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online, or for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, destroyed, delayed, stolen, misdirected or illegible entries. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. Once submitted, entries will not be returned. In case of dispute as to identity of a winner, such entry will be declared made by the registered user of the mydiveo account at the time the entry was submitted, and if a prize is won, and such registered user is a valid entrant, the prize will be awarded to such registered user.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final. Sponsor, agents and representatives of Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, or postage-due entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (iii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsors that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize or from participation in the Contest; or (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to suspend, cancel, or modify the Contest for any reason whatsoever, which reasons shall include, but are not be limited to, computer virus, bug, or other technical problem that corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the Contest, tampering, fraud, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control, or corruption of the administration security, integrity, or fairness of the Contest. By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold Sponsor and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of Sponsors, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, copyright, or invasion of privacy.
RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES
Any and all disputes and claims relating to the Contest shall be resolved by a court of competent jurisdiction in the county of Los Angeles, California. The validity, construction, and performance of these Official Rules, and resolution, award enforcement, and collection relating to any dispute or claim relating to the Contest or these Official Rules shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any conflict of laws provisions.
